Equip is a virtual program helping families recover from eating disorders at home. We provide comprehensive, gold-standard care created informed by experts in the field and people in recovery. Equip’s five-person care teams include dietitians, physicians, therapists, peer mentors and family mentors. Together, they deliver wrap-around treatment to support progress and lasting recovery.

We created Equip to increase access to evidence-based treatment for all people affected by eating disorders. Our team, patients, treatment, and brand reflect the diversity of those affected by eating disorders. In line with this mission, we are committed to partnering closely with insurance companies and other stakeholders to advance access to care.

Equip is looking for a Product Designer to join our team. This individual will be primarily responsible for owning the design of our various apps, across platforms. The ideal individual will have a strong background in digital visual design, user interfaces and user experience & interactions, being able to leverage their talents to increase engagement and the clinical efficacy of our product.

Each day our product designers…

  • Help maintain visual and brand consistency across our web platform and mobile app
  • Work closely with our product and engineering teams to drive product outcomes
  • Transform practical data it to beautiful visualizations
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Define the user experience, interactions, and user interface through user flows, information architecture, sketches and wireframes, and visual design
  • Communicate your designs through effective storytelling, being an ambassador

Job requirements

Nice to Haves:

  • Previous experience working on digital health products
  • Experience with distributed teams in multiple time zones
  • Familiarity with common design frameworks
  • Experience with digital marketing design
  • Startup experience
  • 3+ years experience
